A touch of the Orient..

I had a little day out in Bath recently, having managed to escape the four walls of the gallery. It took years of planning and digging a complex network of tunnels with only a plastic spork and a scrunchie that had lost it’s elasticity, but I made it. I had forgotten how beautiful Bath is as a city. I wafted my camera around snapping pictures off like I knew what I was doing, when I saw an ‘Asian Exhibition here’ sign, just off the architectural magnificance that is The Circus. Channeling the spirit of the mighty spork I felt grown up enough to go in, take the tour and come out inspired for all things oriental… as you can probably tell!

Pictured are the latest works in progress. Enjoy X

I’m still not feeling great so I will write a lengthy piece about this mixed media hummingbird triptych in my head,  and you can all tune in to my brain and download the accompanying PDF,  or pull up an iChair to have a read.  If you’re having trouble logging in to the Serena cerebellum ( I often do) just poke one of my chakras.

No,  not that one.

Some of you maybe thinking I haven’t actually bothered writing anything because I am not well.  For these astute people the one word title succinctly sums it all up…
